Two bright and beautiful Wednesdays in West Seattle for Ensemble! Last week was a fundraising breakfast at @thecenterforactiveliving where a reach goal of $75,000 was handily surpassed, with a total of $86,457 raised. This is a mighty accomplishment for a mighty organization—to say nothing of the amazing strata. 🍳 Congratulations! This morning’s Annual Westside Awards Breakfast, hosted by the @westseattlechamber, was a meaningful occasion. It was an honor for our Managing Partner, Todd, to stand for Ensemble alongside West Seattle business leaders @kandie.jennings and @amyleederenthal in accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented posthumously to @dawnleverett. Dawn’s work with the Chamber was among her proudest professional contributions, especially her time as board chair. Bravo, Dawn!

Ensemble mourns the loss and celebrates the life of Dawn Leverett. Over her more than 20-year career in real estate, Dawn helped hundreds of people deftly navigate the purchase or sale of their homes. Her clients trusted her implicitly, and the bonds she created were lasting and true. Her deepest joy came from creating and supporting community, especially in West Seattle, where she dedicated much of her life to philanthropy and civic development. Her influence was especially profound at @artswestplayhouse, @thecenterforactiveliving, and the @westseattlechamber. Though living with a terminal Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) diagnosis, Dawn was determined to continue serving clients and doing the work she loved for as long as her body would allow. On May 3, 2023, Dawn joined Ensemble, becoming one of our first brokers. True to her nature, she wanted to help build our unique brokerage—even knowing she wouldn’t be a long-term beneficiary of that effort. Our very first For Sale sign bore her name. In her honor, we created Ensemble Ovation—a unique category of membership designed to support Ensemble brokers facing a terminal diagnosis. Under Ovation, all brokerage fees are waived, allowing a broker to keep 100% of their income to support their end-of-life care. Dawn was immensely proud of this legacy.
